Training and Promotion Tools, Publications, Website (ACP/ALA)

Eurostat had developed a wide range of statistical tools to support capacity building in developing countries, covering data production, data exchange, quality assessment and national accounts. However, these tools were not sufficiently visible, accessible, or effectively used across ACP and ALA countries.

Artemis supported Eurostat in disseminating these tools and increasing their visibility. The work included organising and delivering training courses on statistical capacity tools, promoting their use among partner institutions and preparing statistical publications linked to Eurostat’s international cooperation activities. Artemis also ensured continuity with previous dissemination initiatives.

The project significantly increased awareness, accessibility and effective use of Eurostat statistical tools in developing countries. Artemis delivered 282 expert work-days, combining dissemination activities, training sessions and the production of statistical publications. These efforts strengthened statistical capacities and improved data quality across ACP and ALA regions.
