Helpdesk for the editorial services for ‘What’s New’ section of Eurostat’s website
The challenge
Eurostat’s “What’s New” section requires the rapid publication of short articles and visuals presenting new data releases, publications and dissemination products. These outputs must be clear, accurate and accessible to a broad audience, including policymakers, journalists, while often responding to current events and tight publication deadlines.
The solution
Artemis managed the full editorial production cycle for the “What’s New” section of Eurostat’s website. This included identifying suitable data, analysing availability, drafting articles in an English journalistic style, producing infographics, figures, maps and other visuals, proofreading content and preparing publications for online release. Particular attention was paid to responsiveness and short turnaround times.
The outcome
The project strengthened the visibility and accessibility of Eurostat’s statistical outputs through timely and well-structured communication. The service ensured continuity and responsiveness in the publication of “What’s New” content. The project mobilised 970 expert work-days in its main phase and 269 expert work-days in an earlier phase.
